Kaizen Family — Terms of Service

Last updated 13 August 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Kaizen Group International LLC ("we", "us") for your use of the Kaizen Family app. By creating an account you accept them.

1. Who may use Kaizen Family

You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, and able to enter into a contract. Kaizen Family is for adults running a household. Children do not have accounts and cannot sign in.

If you add another person to your household, you are confirming you are entitled to enter their details for this purpose. If you add a child, you confirm you are their parent or guardian.

2. Your account

Keep your sign-in details to yourself, and tell us promptly if you think someone else has access. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

Anyone you invite as an adult to your household can see and change that household's information. Invite only people you intend to give that access.

3. Your content is yours

Everything you put into Kaizen Family remains yours. You grant us only the permission needed to run the service for you — storing it, showing it back to you and the members of your household, and processing it to provide the features you ask for.

We do not sell it, and we do not use it to train AI models.

4. The assistant, and what it is not

Kaizen's suggestions are suggestions. They are produced by an AI model reading what you sent it, and they can be wrong — a misread date, a misjudged deadline, a meal that does not suit you.

Nothing is added to your calendar or lists until you accept it. That check is yours, and it matters: please read what you are accepting, particularly dates.

Kaizen Family is not professional advice. It is not medical, psychological, nutritional, legal or financial advice, and it is not a substitute for a qualified professional. In particular:

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

6. Free use and Kaizen+

Kaizen Family is free to use, with a monthly allowance of assistant requests. Kaizen+ is a paid subscription that raises that allowance and unlocks additional features.

Subscription terms:

Payment is taken by the app store, not by us. We never see your card details.

7. Availability

We aim to keep Kaizen Family running and improving, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Features may change, and features may be withdrawn. If we withdraw something you paid for, we will tell you first.

The service depends on others — the app stores, our hosting provider, and the AI provider. An outage at any of them can affect it.

8. Ending it

You can stop at any time by deleting your account in the app. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, or if we must for legal reasons — and except where a breach makes it inappropriate, we will tell you why.

9. Liability

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Subject to that, and to the maximum extent the law allows: Kaizen Family is provided as it is, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for anything arising from a suggestion you accepted without checking.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For anything material we will tell you in the app before it takes effect, and continuing to use Kaizen Family afterwards means you accept the change.

Apple-specific terms

Where you obtained Kaizen Family from the App Store, you acknowledge that this agreement is between you and us, not Apple; that Apple has no obligation to provide support for the app; and that Apple is not responsible for any claim relating to it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them.
